A TALE TOLD THROUGHOUT THE AGES

Peter’s Aluminum Prime LTD. was founded by Peter Karabelas Sr. in 1962. The story began when Peter opened his first factory on Queen St, Toronto. The company started manufacturing aluminum windows and storm doors. With a small team, Peter built a reputation for quality products and reliable service. His son, Peter Jr, joined him at a young age, becoming part of the family business.

In 1979, Peter Sr.’s son, Peter Jr, took over the company and renamed it Pro Windows. As the window and door industry shifted from aluminum to vinyl, Pro Windows evolved with it, focusing on the new generation of insulated vinyl products. In 2000, Peter relocated the company to Vaughan continuing the family legacy.

In 2017, Zach Karabelas joined his father at Pro Windows, gaining years of hands-on experience in the window and door industry. After years of learning the business and working with customers, Zach decided to take that experience and build something of his own. More recently, he founded Aegean Windows and Doors, continuing the family tradition of quality, service, and craftsmanship while beginning a new chapter of his own.
